Steps to enable Firewall for 'OMessenger' on AVG 2008
  • 1. Run AVG 2008
  • 2. Open the Main window and click the Firewall option.
  • 3. Choose the type of Firewall profile at Select Firewall profile dropdown under the heading Firewall settings.
  • 4. Go to Tools menu bar and click the Firewall Settings
  • 5. Click the '+' sign beside the type of firewall profile you have chosen in the left side of the window.
  • 6. Click the Applications.
  • 7. Click the Add button to add OMessenger in the List of applications list.
  • 8. Enter OMessenger in the Name textbox. Choose the 'Allow for all' option in the 'Application Action' dropdown menu.
  • 9. Click the Browse button and select the installation path.
  • 10. Click the Apply button then OK.
  • 11. Now you can see OMessenger under the List of applications list with a tick mark besides it.
