Server
 
Installing Server/Server Pro :
  • Download the Server Tool installer from the Downloads page.
  • Run Server Installer on any one computer in your network. You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to install.
  • Installer may download any missing components from the Microsoft Website.
  • For Offline Installation, please make sure you have installed the following packages:
    1. Windows Installer 3.1
    2. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0
    3. Microsoft SQL Server Compact 4.0 (Required only for ServerPro)
  • After Installation, add OMessengerServerService.exe in the Firewall exception list. more details
  • You can also open the following ports to make Server work behind a firewall/NAT.
    For Server Lite / Server Pro, TCP Port: 14221.
    For Voice Chat Server, TCP Port: 14222 & UDP Port: 14223.
    For Server Pro Plugins,TCP Port: 14220
