To make OMessenger.jar an executable file:
Step 1: Extract OMessenger.tar.gz
Step 2: Right Click OMessenger.jar > Properties

Step 3: Click Add, in the Add Application Screen, enter "java -jar" as a custom command.

Step 4: Make sure Java is selected. Click Close.
